Have you heard of Hilton Grand Vacations at The Flamingo in Las Vegas?

Hilton Grand Vacations at The Flamingo is a Hilton timeshare resort in Las Vegas that is within the property of Flamingo Hotel and Casino adjacent to their big and famous Go Pool area. Do not confuse this with the Flamingo Hotel because they are separate property and the entrance to this resort is behind the Flamingo Hotel.

We stayed at this resort 3 times already and we decided to make this our 2nd favorite place to stay in Las Vegas because of its location, amenities, and price.

Notice the monorail and the High Roller as you drive up into the front entrance

Experience the welcoming atmosphere as you enter the inviting resort lobby and relax at the comfortable seating area. The friendly and accommodating team members at the front desk are always ready to assist you 24 hours of your daily stay.

As you enter the lobby, take the steps down, with the front desk to the right and the seating area across it.

Resort Location

This resort is behind the Flamingo Hotel, in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip, across Caesar’s Palace. There is a short walk to get to the strip but if you are familiar with hotels in Las Vegas, there is always a short walk to get to the strip from your hotel room, and often through the smoky casinos.

To get to the strip through the back doors past the lobby of the resort, take the pathway towards and into Flamingo hotel, past the casino and out into the strip or you can take the sidewalk to the left towards Cromwell Hotel to the direction of the strip.

We love this big photo op chair located along the pathway towards the Flamingo Hotel.

The resort is also next to the LINQ PROMENADE, which sits between the Linq Hotel and the Flamingo Hotel with the High Roller as its focal point.

The Linq Promenade is a lovely place lined with bars, restaurants, and shops.

To get to the Linq Promenade from the resort, you walk to the Flamingo Hotel and up the escalators, into the casino to the right towards the direction of the Linq Hotel, or as soon as you are at the top of the escalator, go out the doors to the right towards the beautiful garden and walk through and enjoy the Flamingo Wildlife Habitat.

Or you can just take the pathway from the resort and make a left to the direction of the Flamingo Swimming Pool, into the wildlife habitat. After exploring the habitat, enter the Flamingo hotel again and continue walking to the right towards the Linq Hotel and out the doors into the Linq Promenade.

It is easy for Jorge and me to leave the kids safe at the resort for date nights because the casinos, restaurants, and bars are less than 5 minutes away and the resort is safe and secure, away from the noise and crowd of the strip.

The Resort

Rooms and Suites. The resort is a vacation property and the suites are spacious and ideal for traveling families.

The one bedroom suite has a separate living room with a comfortable sofa bed that provided sleeping space for the children. There is enough space for a cot or a blow-up bed as well that allowed our children to all sleep together.

The living room with sofa bed, overlooking the swimming pool.

The full kitchen and dining area allow us to prepare meals and dine just like at home particularly at breakfast since we all prefer to sleep in and not rush at mornings. When we travel with my siblings’ family, we cook and share meals together and there is enough space for all of us.

Our 2017 New Year Las Vegas Trip with 4 of my siblings’ family. We have separate suites but we love to get together for meals.

The bedroom is spacious and furnished with a comfortable king bed or 2 queen beds whichever you prefer at booking. There is a jetted tub and a big counter with his and hers sink too.

We love the comfortable king bed and there is also another 42″ flat screen TV in the bedroom.

The big jetted tub and the big counter with his and hers sink. There is enough space in this bedroom than most apartment homes.

The other door from the powder room/ bathroom into the bedroom ensuring privacy.

There is a powder room and bathroom combo that has another sink, separated by a door from the toilet and walk-in shower. There are doors to the bathroom, one from the kitchen area and one from the bedroom in the tub area, both can be locked from the inside for privacy.

The washer and dryer inside the suite make it convenient to do laundry for a longer stay because that means you do not have to pack so many clothes especially if you travel with children.

There is also enough storage space at the hallway, in the bedroom and living room and the doorbell at the door of each suite prevents unnecessary noise because one does not have to knock or bang the door when trying to get in.

The 2 bedroom suite is a lock off unit with combined junior suite (which has a kitchenette and sofa bed but no washer and dryer) and the one bedroom suite with all of the amenities described above. There is also a welcoming foyer as you enter the 2 bedroom suite.

Amenities

Swimming Pool. The children love the large rectangular heated outdoor swimming pool and the hot tub and it is adjacent to the Flamingo Go Pool. There is a pool bar that opens from April to October serving light snacks and drinks.

Fitness Center. You do not have to skip your fitness routine when in Las Vegas. Visit the fitness center for a quick cardio or weight training. And relax in the indoor hot tub or sauna after your quick sweat off at the gym!

Family Recreation/ Relaxation Areas.

Barbecue Area. Adjacent to the pool area, are 4 barbecue grills and tables and chairs for barbecue nights.

Patio. Just outside the door past the front desk is the 2 level outside patio with the first level furnished with several tables and chairs ideal for afternoon relaxation or sharing a snack or meal with your family. The 2nd level has chairs only, some facing the Flamingo Go Pool.

Quiet Lounge. If you prefer to stay indoors in the hot summer months, your family can relax in the large and inviting quiet lounge just off of the lobby. There is an ATM machine as well for your cash needs.

The quiet lounge.

The ADA ramp and the stairs from the quiet lounge, to the right, is the Market Place, to the left leads to the resort entrance.

Adjacent to the quiet lounge is a recreation area with table tennis and a pool table too. I think I saw some board games and reading materials there as well.

On the second floor up to the winding stairs in the entrance area is another lounge with a beautiful grand piano with which you are welcome to play.

Business Center. The business center is also available for your online and printing needs equipped with 2 desktop computers and it has a DVD machine as well for yours and your children to borrow DVDs for free.

Market Place. Enjoy cook to order meals or ready to eat sandwiches and snacks and several choices of beverages like juices, sodas, alcoholic beverages and wines as well at this mini grocery inside the resort which provides basic needs for your stay. Some clothing and Las Vegas souvenirs are available too.

Parking

Garage self-parking is complimentary but it is far and the direction is confusing and so we used valet parking which is only $13 per day inclusive of in and out privileges.  However, if you choose to self-park, make sure to drop off your luggage at the resort first for yours and your family’s convenience.

Price

Just like any other hotels, weekends and holidays are more expensive, but it is affordable especially if you factor in the comfort and amenities your family will enjoy. And the internet is complimentary as well, a little slow but hey its free!

Studio – $ 170s – $200s

1 Bedroom Suite – $ 220s – $250s

2 Bedroom Suite – $ 400s – $ 450s

This resort is ideal for families with children and will give you the home away from home experience and the price is easier on your pocket. This is the resort for you if you want to stay away from the noise and the smoke that casino hotels have and yet close enough to experience the Las Vegas Strip.

Would I go back? You bet! We stayed at this resort three times already and we will stay again if given the opportunity.

What are you waiting for? Go and stay at the Hilton Grand Vacations at the Flamingo, on your next visit to Las Vegas!
